A knife attack in Reading that killed three has been declared a terror incident.
Yesterday evening, at least six people were stabbed in Forbury Gardens by a lone attacker.
A hero police officer tackled a suspect to the ground and placed him under arrest.
Sources said the suspect, who is being held in police custody, is a Libyan national in his twenties.
Armed police could be seen searching a block of flats in the town late last night.
Following the decision to class the attack a terror incident, the investigation has now been taken over by Counter Terror police.
The Prime Minister said he was “appalled” by the attack.
