Manama : Incumbent Bahrain Table Tennis Association (BTTA) Chairperson Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa has been reelected uncontested for a new term. Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz expressed her gratitude for the trust bestowed upon her by BTTA General Assembly. 7 out of the 13 candidates who ran for the election, won BTTA board membership. The winners expressed their thanks and appreciation to BTTA General Assembly, pledging to work hand to hand with the Chairperson in order to serve table tennis in Bahrain.

Manama :The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned the storming and ransacking of the Jordanian Embassy and the residence of the head of the military office at the Kuwaiti embassy in Khartoum. Manama : Nine infrastructure projects worth BD11,293,,119 were awarded last month, said Works Ministry Undersecretary Shaikh Mishal bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.  In a statement today, the undersecretary he said that bids have been invited for 8 other projects a total estimated cost of BD 10,872,279. “The projects were awarded as part of the ministry’s efforts to develop public services and upgrade the infrastructure across Bahrain to meet citizens’ needs, support the national economy and keep pace with the urban and investment development”, he said. Abu Dhabi : The Foo Fighters will play the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2023 race day concert on November 26 at Etihad Park. The performance by the American rock group will be the last of four after race concerts beginning from November 23. Kicking off the series will be Dutch DJ Tiesto and US pop star Ava Max with the remaining two concerts on November 24 and 25 to be revealed closer to the date. BEIJING: China sentenced a 78-year-old United States citizen to life in prison Monday on spying charges, in a case that could exacerbate the deterioration in ties between Beijing and Washington over recent years.
