To implement the directives of the Chief of Public Security Presidency to promote precautionary measures against the spread of coronavirus, the Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate has held a multi-language awareness campaign at Amwaj Islands, Diyar Al Muharraq, tourism organisations and beaches.
The campaign enhances awareness of foreign communities on the importance to avoid gatherings and safety measures.
The campaign will continue to back up national efforts against coronavirus.
The kingdom has recorded 22,407 cases of COVID-19 and a total of 66 deaths, the least in the six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council.
