Piyush Srivastava, Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain has arrived at Bahrain International Airport on Tuesday. His arrival was delayed for weeks due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Piyush Srivastava came to fill the position of the former Indian Ambassador Alok Kumar Sinha, which was vacant for about 5 months.
Ambassador Piyush Srivastava joined the 1998 batch of Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and was previously the Joint Secretary in India’s External Affairs Ministry before being appointed in Bahrain.
