    Under the Patronage of HH Shaikha Noora bint Hamad Al Khalifa National Day Dressage Champions Crowned

    Bahrain : Held under the patronage of HH Shaikha Noora bint Hamad Al Khalifa, Captain of Al Fursan team, Ghaleb Al Alawi, Secretary of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF), Khalid Ahmed Hassan, Assistant Secretary of BREEF and Mr Tawfiq Al Salehi, Director of the HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Media Office and Information Centre, crowned the champions of the National Day Dressage Championship which took place at Bahrain International Endurance Village, featuring wide participation from local stables and jockeys.
    On this occasion, Dr Khalid Ahmed Hassan expressed utmost thanks and appreciation to HH Shaikha Noora bint Hamad Al Khalifa for Her Highness’ continued support of equestrian sports which are witnessing constant development across all events and championships, adding that Her Highness’ patronage for this championship embodies her interest and backing for equestrian sports.
    Winners
    It’s worth noting that the championship included various categories. In the junior intro category, Alban Lecat won first place on the horse Solo after amassing 66.52 points, while second and third places went to Milie Hegary on the horse Kevin (63.47p) and Muneera Al Abbasi on the horse As D’Or Del Sol (63.26p) respectively. Meanwhile, Carlijn and her horse Jairo triumphed in the intro senior section after scoring 69.35 points, followed by Mohammed Al Sakran on Mandhur (68.89p) and Lydia Bizhenka on Gauhar (66.3p).
    Moreover,  Camilia Lecat on Solo collected 66.03 points to win the junior preliminary category, leaving second place to Millie Hegarty on Kevin (57.75p), while Reema Al Jahrami came third on Capri (55.51p).
    In the preliminary senior section, Martin Smith emerged as the victor after earning 67.41 points on Judio, and Abbas Fadhel on Aabis was the runner-up with 65.68 points. Keshia Smith on Jairo finished third with 65 points.
    In the novice section, Megan Black on Jaranero came first with 71.25 points, followed by Oliver Walter on Zimba (68.21p) and Yelda Topbas on Maestro (67.85p) respectively.
    Finally, Oliver Walter was crowned as the champion in the elementary open. Riding Zimba, he had 68.03 points under his belt. Megan Black on Jaranero was second with 67.57 points, and Yelda Topbas on Maestro was third after amassing 64.39 points.
