Manama : Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Board Chairman of Nogaholding, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, hailed the promotion of 359 employees of the Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY). He said the move reflects the company’s keenness to develop the potentials of its employees and boost productivity.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed that the promotion aims to give the national competencies more responsibility and avail of their capabilities to achieve further success, in line with the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He added that it also reflects the company’s keenness to undertake a course that is concordant with the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa pointed out that the promotion is the biggest in the history of the company and is hoped to increase the employees’ productivity, hone their competence and skills and prepare them for higher posts in the future.
The move is expected to reflect positively on the development of the company which employs high Bahraini competencies who proved their worth through active participation in the development process.
It is worth noting that ASRY is committed to the Bahrainization policy and the development of national competencies and human resources. Since 2020, the company has adopted a policy which resulted in 800 promotions until 2023 targeting 500 male and female employees, in conjunction with the company’s comprehensive modernization strategy.
