The Kuwait government has decided to change curfew hours to start from 7:00 pm to 5:00 am. The change will be implemented in the morning of Sunday, June 21, but would not allow the public sector’s workers to return to their offices next week. The Public Prosecution has received many notifications from the Public Health Directorate on violation of health regulations by 23 persons at hairdressing and beauty salons. The regulations were imposed by the health authorities in the Kingdom of Bahrain to contain and prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). The salons were closed down for breaching the health regulations. The Public Prosecution also received notifications on violation of 14 defendants of the home quarantine procedures imposed on them. The MOH expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased. Emirates today announced it will offer scheduled flights for travellers in 10 more cities: Colombo (from 20 June), Sialkot (24 June), Istanbul (from 25 June); Auckland, Beirut, Brussels, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (all from 1 July); and Barcelona and Washington DC (all from 15 July). The High Criminal Court has sentenced three Iran-owned Future Bank officials to five years in prison and to fines of BD1 million each in each of the ten cases brought against them on charges of money laundering, funding terrorism and violating banking regulations in Bahrain.
