Oman has reported 811 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), taking the total cases in the sultanate to 9,820. Most of the newly admitted cases are from foreigners, which is 496 and the rest 315 from Omanis, according to the Ministry of Health. Bahrain has reports 300 new COVID-19 cases among 183 expatriate workers and 117 contacts of active cases. These new cases bring up the total cases in the kingdom to 10,352 and there are 4,846 active cases of which 9 are critical and the rest stable, according to the Ministry of Health.  There are currently 30 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment. Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti National Guard Lieut. Gen. Hashem Al-Refaei on Thursday opened a new quarantine centre for the body’s personnel infected with COVID-19. Friday prayers will resume in Bahrain’s mosques starting June 5, the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments has said.
