A new online service allowing people affected by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) to register through national platform Bahrain.bh has been launched. The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) launched the Corona Registration Service, in cooperation with the Information and Electronic Government (iGA). The drive is in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa to provide assistance to Bahraini families which were affected by the pandemic and alleviate their financial burdens during this exceptional situation. Bahrain has reported 141 new COVID-19 cases, among 105 expatriate workers and 34 contacts and 2 were travel-related, this takes today’s total cases to 193. These newly registered cases bring up the total cases in the kingdom to 9,366 and there are 4,414 active cases of which 9 are critical and the rest stable, according to the Ministry of Health.  There are currently 24 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment. South American carrier Latam Airlines says it is seeking Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection as it grapples with the sharp downturn in air travel sparked by the coronavirus pandemic. Bahrain has started using three medical robots in medical isolation wards in hospitals and isolation centers. Its experiment was launched at the Ibrahim Khalil Kanoo Health Center for isolation. Saudi Arabia has reported 1,931 new coronavirus infections during the past 24 hours, raising the total to 76,726, according to the health ministry. The number of new daily cases has since been decreasing day by day.
