Bahrain has reported 76 new COVID-19 cases, of which 45 are among expatriate workers, 30 were a contact of an active case, and 1 was travel-related, this takes today’s total cases to 240. These newly registered cases bring up the total cases in the kingdom to 8,414 and there are 4,306 active cases of which 7 are critical and the rest stable, according to the Ministry of Health.  There are currently 30 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment. Saudi Arabia saw a steep increase in the daily number of coronavirus cases with 2,642 new infections reported during the past 24 hours, raising the total to 67,719, according to the health ministry. The first repatriation flight from Bahrain to Thiruvananthapuram flew from the Bahrain International Airport, as a part of the Vande Bharat Mission to evacuate Indians from foreign countries. The flight will land at Trivandrum International Airport.
