100 new coronavirus cases were announced by the Health Ministry today. According to an official statement, 78 of the cases are expatriate workers while 20 are those who came in contact with active cases and two have returned from Iran. 4 new recoveries have been reported in Bahrain. Britons in Bangladesh will be able to fly home on four repatriation flights this week – the first arranged from the country amid the coronavirus crisis – the Foreign Office has confirmed. The Ministry of Health (MOH) announced today the registration of (86) new positive cases with Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Sultanate including (15) cases for Omanis and (71) cases for non-Omanis. Abba Kyari had acted as the gatekeeper to 77-year-old President Muhammadu Buhari. The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, FAHR, on Sunday declared a five-hour work day for civil servants during the Holy Month of Ramadan, which is expected to start on April 24th. In a circular, FAHR announced that work hours for all ministries and federal entities will start from 09:00 to 14:00, with the “exception of those whose job nature demands working extra hours.” FAHR also called on all federal ministries and agencies to follow the provisions issued by the authority in relation to remote work during emergencies.
