Tokyo Olympics organizers announced today that the local organizing committee or International Olympic Committee were not considering postponing or canceling the 2020 Games despite the spread of Corona virus. Earlier in the day, a member of the Organizing Committee told Reuters that delaying the games by a year or two may be the best option, if it would prove unwise to hold the Olympics this summer, amidst widespread Corona outbreak.

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Royal Charity Organization celebrated raising USD91,904.16 since the successful launch of their passenger donations project. Launched in September 2018, the initiative allowed passengers to donate coins or notes of any currency onboard Gulf Air flights. The project was launched by H.E. Mr. Zayed R. The Ministry of Health announced the arrival of the first batch of citizens within the plan to evacuate Bahraini citizens from Iran today, safely and in accordance with precautionary measures in a manner that guarantees their safety and the safety of the citizens and residents in Bahrain.
