Tokyo Olympics organizers announced today that the local organizing committee or International Olympic Committee were not considering postponing or canceling the 2020 Games despite the spread of Corona virus. Earlier in the day, a member of the Organizing Committee told Reuters that delaying the games by a year or two may be the best option, if it would prove unwise to hold the Olympics this summer, amidst widespread Corona outbreak.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a circular detailing the procedure that will be followed regarding passengers who are returning to Bahrain from coronavirus affected countries.   

The Ministry of Health announced the arrival of the first batch of citizens within the plan to evacuate Bahraini citizens from Iran today, safely and in accordance with precautionary measures in a manner that guarantees their safety and the safety of the citizens and residents in Bahrain.
