Manama : President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, received here today the Muharraq Municipal Council Chairman, Abdulaziz Ahmed Al-Naar, and several members, with whom he discussed a number of cultural infrastructure projects in the Muharraq Governorate.
BACA President commended the role played by the Muharraq Municipal Council in meeting the service needs of the citizens and residents.
While reviewing the cultural infrastructure projects in the Muharraq Governorate, BACA President stressed the importance of enhancing coordination between the two sides to develop the City of Muharraq and develop its cultural infrastructure.
Muharraq Municipal Council Chairman expressed thanks and appreciation to BACA for its efforts, affirming the pivotal role of culture in promoting Bahrain’s civilisational reputation and celebrating the rich heritage of the ancient city of Muharraq.
