Nearly 32,000 people have been killed around the world as the number of novel coronavirus cases continues to skyrocket with the number of diagnosed COVID-19 cases globally surpassing 677,000.
It was just Thursday that there were 500,000 cases worldwide, which was double the number of coronavirus cases from the week before.
The U.S. stood at more than 124,000 diagnosed coronavirus cases on Sunday morning. There are at least 2,227 deaths in the country.
At least 141,000 people have recovered from the virus during this pandemic.
