Russia has reported 8,849 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the total cases in the country to 317,554, according to a statement from the country’s coronavirus response headquarters.
Russia also reported 127 new death from COVID-19, raising the total fatalities to 3,099.
The country has a total of 92,681 recoveries.
Russia has the second-highest number of coronavirus cases, behind the United States, according to Worldometer.
