    Women honoured for providing first aid to victims of restaurant explosion

    The Director-General of Northern Governorate Police, Brigadier Isa Al Qattan, has honoured a Bahraini lady Hisa Abdulameer Al Aswad and a Morrocan Lady, Hanan Al Samadi for providing first aid until the arrival of the ambulances and civil defence teams for the victims of an explosion in a restaurant because of a gas leak in Maqaba on  January 24.

    The honouring was part of the directives of His Excellency Interior Minister and follow up of the Chief of Public Security.

    The Director-General hailed the noble stand of the two women of helping the victims and their high sense of the importance of the community partnership.
