Manama : The 18th edition of the IISS Manama Dialogue, themed ‘Rules and Competition in the Middle East”, will kick off here today, and run until November 20.
The event is organised by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), in cooperation with Bahrain’s Foreign Affairs Ministry.
IISS Manama Dialogue provides a unique platform to discuss the most pressing challenges in foreign policy, defence and security in the Middle East.
The sessions of the IISS Manama Dialogue 2022 will focus on a number of key topics, including “The Changing Geopolitics of Energy”, “The Impact of Extra-Regional Conflicts on Middle East Security”, “Middle East Initiatives for Regional Conflict Resolution”, “Defence Modernisation and New Technologies” and “New Security Partnerships in the Middle East”, among others.
