    642 Bahrainis employed, 353 trained during the last week of 2021

    Bahrain :  Labour and Social Development Ministry has announced that as many as 642 Bahrainis with different academic qualifications had been employed in 403 private companies and institutions between December 26 and 30, adding that 353 nationals had also been trained during the same period.

    In a statement, the Labour Ministry revealed that since the launch of the second edition of the National Employment Programme in 2021, 26,344 job-seekers have been recruited by 6,826, private companies and 12,841 trained, exceeding the initial targets of 25,000 jobs and 10,000 training opportunities.

    The Labour Ministry said that details of the recruiting companies and the names of their newly-employed Bahrainis are available on its website.
