An Indian National has been granted special permission to return to India after having being diagnosed with an infection. Are Anjaiah hailing from Andhra Pradesh earlier this month was diagnosed with a deep fungal infection and had been referred for further specialist treatment.
The 60-year-old was provided with a ticket to Hyderabad after his plight was considered and approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Health. Anjaiah thanked the Indian Embassy’s second secretary PK Chowdhury and other Embassy officials for their prompt support.
Over 180 Indian Nationals will return to Hyderabad, India today as part of the Vande Bharat Mission, second phase. This is notably the third flight from Bahrain in the second phase.
