The Kuwait Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) announced that it will monitor 60 cooperatives, supermarkets, commercial stores and pharmacies during their inspection tours and monitor 61 branches of food catering to ensure the smooth flow of sales and delivery of foodstuffs to their beneficiaries and to determine the extent of their commitment and maintain price stability of the products.
MOCI said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) today, Thursday, that its inspection teams’ tours are continuing their work, in light of the applicable decisions regarding the relevant measures to face the repercussions of the spread of Corona Virus (SARS Cove-2) infection, which causes Covid-19 disease.
The emergency centre had received 115 complaints via the hotline (135), stressing the need to adhere to the law because of the exceptional circumstance that the country is going through.
