Bahrain has reported 135 new COVID-19 cases, of which 78 are among expatriate workers, 56 were a contact of an active case, and 1 was travel-related, this takes today’s total cases to 356.
These newly registered cases bring up the total cases in the kingdom to 8,174 and there are 4,289 active cases of which 7 are critical and the rest stable, according to the Ministry of Health.
There are currently 26 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment, of which 7 are in a critical condition.
MOH also reported 158 new recoveries from COVID-19, taking today’s recoveries to 305. This brings the total recoveries in the country to 3,873. Bahrain has shown a significant recovery rate in the past days.
Bahrain has so far conducted 262,107 COVID-19 tests for the early detection of the virus.
So far Bahrain has reported 12 fatalities due to health complications.
