Bahrain has announced that Eid Al-Fitr will begin on Sunday (May 24) in the country.
The moon sighting panel committee said the crescent moon was not sighted on Friday night.
Both private and public sector workers, who have the same holidays, will enjoy a five-day break including the weekend, returning to work on Wednesday, May 27.
More than 1.5 billion Muslims around the world marked Ramadan this year, during which believers abstain from eating, drinking, smoking, and having marital relations from dawn until sunset.
