Kuwait has reported 604 new coronavirus cases, the majority of the cases are from Kuwaitis which is 313, taking the total confirmed cases in the country to 38,678, according to the Ministry of Health.
678 new recoveries have been reported in the country, raising the total recoveries to 30,190.
Kuwait has done 3,087 NP swab tests in the past 24 hours, as the country ramps up its efforts to test more people and detect cases early, according to the health ministry.
So far, the country has conducted a total of 349,412 coronavirus tests.
The Kuwait government has decided to change curfew hours to start from 7:00 pm to 5:00 am.
Also, the government will lift the lockdown on areas of Hawally, Nuqra, Maidan Hawally and some blocks in Khaitan.
