In a partnership initiative, the Capital Governorate has received a shipment of 25000 masks from China’s Hebei Province. The initiative represents the efforts of the governorate in building ties with provinces and governorates of common interests.
His Excellency Capital Governor, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa hailed the distinguished initiative of the Hebei Province Governor, Xu Chen, for its contribution to fighting the spreading of coronavirus.
He said that the initiative would promote ties based on mutual cooperation, friendships and respects as part of the efforts and global solidarity of China to overcome the current extraordinary situations. He also praised the Chinese efforts in combating the epidemic that won international appreciation, along with the pioneer efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Governor asserted the solid relations with the Province Governor since the visit of Bahrain’s economic delegation to China as part of the tour organised by the Bahrain Economic Board in November 2018.
He said that the Capital Governor is dedicated to open new horizons with governorates and provinces of friendly countries to exchange expertise and keep the pioneering role of the governorate in promoting the accomplishment of Bahrain. The governorate has distinguished ties with several Chinese cities, in which memorandums of understandings and cooperation agreements were signed with them.
