Bahrain has reported 573 new cases of coronavirus, among 297 expatriate workers, 246 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 30 are travel-related, after conducting over 9,900 additional COVID-19 tests on Friday.
The death toll stands at 95, as one new death was reported in the kingdom.
Meanwhile, 735 additional recoveries from COVID-19 were reported.
The total cases have driven to 28,410 of which 23,318 have recovered, which means that over 82 percent of the confirmed cases have recovered from the virus. Currently, there are 4,997 active cases.
Also, there are 58 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment, of which 48 are in a critical condition.
So far the country has conducted 584,070 tests, as per the government statics.
