Director-General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science announced on Thursday the arrest of a man for car arson. He set the car on fire, which is owned by his friend after telling him that he will buy it and will pay the remaining money and finalise the ownership transfer process later.
He said that after the reporting of a case of a fire in a car that was parked near a house in Aali, the concerned authorities rushed to the scene and distinguished the fire that reached another parked vehicle.
The investigation indicated that the case was arson and the one who reported it was involved in setting the car on fire because of money dispute with his friend.
Legal proceedings were taken, and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution.
