Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, on Thursday held a virtual meeting with the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during which he expressed congratulations on Eid Al-Adha, wishing them continued success.
He affirmed the importance of the employees’ efforts in helping the ministry achieve an effective and constructive foreign policy that enhances the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the international arena. He also commended the kingdom’s wise leadership and determination to attain more effective diplomatic work and achievements.
He said “This will fulfill the aspirations and directives of His Majesty the King to achieve a foreign policy that serves the interests of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its honorable citizens and strengthen its position on the international level.”
The Minister of Foreign Affairs said such meeting with the staff would continue on such blessed occasions, expressing deep thanks and appreciation to everyone for their keenness on participating actively in developing work and upgrading performance.
He thanked the employees for their positive contribution to the ministry’s efforts to carry out its tasks and responsibilities, in implementation of the decisions of the Cabinet, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, with the close follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
Dr Zayani outlined a number of vital issues that the ministry seeks to tackle in the future, and answered the employees’ queries about some issues related to diplomatic and administrative work in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, explaining the future plans of the ministry to upgrade work.
