Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed bin Rashid Alzayani on Thursday opened the Food Trucks area, which is located in the vicinity of Bahrain International Stadium.
In attendance were Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Ayman bin Tqawfiq Almoayyed, Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) Chief Executive Officer Dr. Nasser Ali Dr. Nasser Ali Yousif and Mps Ahmed Al-Amer and Ibrahim Al-Nafea.
Alzayani, also BTEA Chairman, hailed the vision of His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor, Supreme Defence Council Secretary General and SCYS Chairman HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.
He also commended the directives of the SCYS First Deputy Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, also head of the Coordination, Implementation and Follow-up Committee “Istijaba” to support national project and allocate an area near the stadium to accommodate 50 food trucks.
Almoayyed stressed the importance of implementing the vision of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and organise the food truck business activity as part of efforts to support Bahraini youth.
He praised the keenness and support of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and his directives to allocate an area in the vicinity of the Bahrain International Stadium for the food trucks, which will operate from 4 pm until midnight.
