Bahrain : Inspector-General of the Interior Ministry, Major-General Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa presented on Wednesday the ISO (9001:2015) certificate that the Police Media Centre has obtained for the second time to the Director-General of Media and Security Culture, Brigadier Mohammed Bin Daina

The certificate is part of the strategy of the Interior Ministry to reinforce performance and the implementation of the directives of His Excellency Interior Minister to provide accurate and competent security services.

The certificate applies to all electronic operations that were introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Inspector-General hailed the outstanding performance of the centre and its commitment to implement the quality assurance policy to promote professionalism in providing the media mission.

The Director-General of Media and Security Culture valued the support of HE Interior Minister to enhance media and security culture performance. He said that the media and security culture have a positive role in creating a community environment to promote cooperation in the protection of national security and partnership with security authorities.

He said that renewing the ISO certificate reflects the centre’s capabilities in dealing with media challenges, mainly social media as a solid competitor to the conventional media. He highlighted the role of police media in achieving more round the clock rapid and transparent community interaction.

The Director-General expressed thanks and appreciation to the General Directorate of Media and Security Culture affiliates for the accomplishment and their dedication to enhance performance.
