Bahrain : The Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies and Chairman of the Equal Opportunities Committee, Her Excellency Ambassador Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, chaired today the meeting of the Equal Opportunities Committee at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Dr. Shaikha Muneera expressed congratulations to the Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, on the occasion of celebrating the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the SCW.
She affirmed that the Committee is in the process of presenting a comprehensive strategy for equal opportunities at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the aim of increasing the representation of Bahraini female diplomats in the embassies abroad, and providing the necessary training to prepare female diplomats to assume leadership positions both in the ministry and the Kingdom’s missions.
She indicated that the ministry’s strategy for equal opportunities in the will focus on the most important challenges facing women in this regard to achieve the aforementioned goals.
