His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, received some of his former teachers at Ibn Khaldoun National School at the start of the 2021-2022 academic year.

HH Shaikh Nasser stressed that the support accorded by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to education in Bahrain has opened wide horizons in education based on a well-defined methodology that contributes to the formation and development of Bahraini youth.

Modern education holds a significant importance in the vision of HM the King for a bright future for the Kingdom, he added.

HH Shaikh Nasser commended the interest of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in high education standards that support the achievement of sustainable development goals in Bahrain.

“Today, we recall those beautiful days that we lived during our education since childhood at Ibn Khaldoun National School, and I am happy to meet my distinguished teachers who are the ones who take the special credit for taking me to where we are today,” HH Shaikh Nasser said.

HH Shaikh Nasser also took to Instagram to pay tribute to all teachers, quoting a famous verse in Arabic urging people to pay their highest respects to teachers who should hold a status close to that of Messengers.

HH Shaikh Nasser praised the prominent role of Ibn Khaldoun National School in building the capabilities and developing the aptitudes of Bahraini students since their early age.

The educational plan at Ibn Khaldoun National School is based on modern, advanced and innovative methods, which emphasizes the long-term vision of the school’s educational approach and policies, he added.

HH Shaikh Nasser wished the school faculty and students a successful academic year.

The teachers expressed appreciation and thanks to HH Shaikh Nasser for his continuous support to education in Bahrain and stressed that HH is an inspirational figure to students in the school for presenting ideas and innovations in various fields thanks to his special skills and remarkable abilities that have contributed to the success of many Bahraini youth.
