Bahrain : HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Head of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee has received at his office in Al Wadi Palace Bahrain’s Ambassador to Oman Juma bin Ahmed Al Ka’abi
The meeting was attended by HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President of the General Sports Authority and HE Dr Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, CEO of the General Sports Authority.
HH Shaikh Khalid hailed the ambassador’s efforts to cement the historic relations binding Bahrain and Oman, supported by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said.
He said that both countries are keen to support the close cooperation according to the comprehensive development vision across all fields to affirm the unity of objective and destiny that bring together all the GCC states.
HH Shaikh Khalid discussed with the ambassador ways of developing cooperation with Oman through the implementation of programmes and initiatives that contribute to opening new horizons and exchanging successful experiences.
“We look forward to strengthening the cooperation between Bahrain and Oman in the sports field in order to deliver the essential goals of the GCC states and support the joint works and develop this important field,” HH Shaikh Khalid said.
The ambassador hailed the efforts of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa in support of bilateral relations between both countries, valuing his endeavors towards backing sports in the region.
