Bahrain : Nasser Vocational Training Center (NVTC) Executive Director Dr. Abdullah Nasser Al Nuaimi received a delegation from the US embassy made up of
Counselor for Political and Economic Affairs Apar Sidhuand Political Officer Solmaz Sharifi.
The delegation was briefed on the center since its inception in line with the aspirations of HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Sports HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the board of trustees.
The directives of HM the King were to transform the educational edifice into a developed scientific city with a leadership role in cloud computing and artificial intelligence through providing training, qualification and consultations.
The meeting also touched on the importance of the NVTC’s prominent role in providing high-quality training services to convicts in correctional centers, and assisting them in educational and professional achievements.
The delegation toured the Nasser Center facilities at the Interior Ministry’s Correction and Rehabilitation Center in Jaww.
Dr. Al Nuaimi said the visit is within the center’s priorities to open channels of communication with similar educational institutions in all developed and advanced countries in modern specializations.
The center is also keen on highlighting Bahrain’s modern and advanced educational, rehabilitation and training services for its youth to empower them to compete internationally and to meet the needs of the labor market.
