Bahrain : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, HRH Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, at Al-Safriya Palace.
His Royal Highness highlighted the depth of historic ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which continue to strengthen with the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
His Royal Highness received the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In return, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister conveyed his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
His Royal Highness noted that longstanding relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia are based on solid foundations and common goals that benefit both countries and their peoples. In this regard, His Royal Highness noted Saudi Arabia’s pivotal role in supporting causes of Arab and Islamic nations, contributing to achieving regional security and stability.
Strategies to further strengthen ongoing bilateral cooperation, as well as regional and international issues of common interest were discussed.
For his part, HRH Prince Turki bin Mohammed expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister and noted HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s commitment to furthering Bahrain-Saudi relations across all levels.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister then hosted a luncheon in honour of the Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and the accompanying delegation.
The Personal Representative of His Majesty the King, President of the Supreme Council for Environment, HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club High Committee, HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, HRH Prince Sultan Bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and a number of senior officials also attended the meeting.
