Bahrain : Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman, Head of the General Sports Authority (GSA) and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa visited Saar Club and was received by Chairman Abbas Abdelwahab Mohammed and board members.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa has also paid a field visit to Bani Jamra where he met Chairman Abdelmajid Ibrahim Mohammed and board members.
In attendance were GSA Deputy Chairman His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, Chief Executive Officer Dr. Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa commended the efforts exerted by Saar and Bani Jamra Clubs to develop the sport sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He lauded their roles and dedicated efforts to hold events and take part in competitions, stressing the importance of motivating youth to exercise sports.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa was briefed about the programmes and plans lined up by both clubs, highlighting the future vision aimed at furthering achievements which would consolidate the standing of Bahrain on the continental and world sports map.
