Bahrain : Within the framework of efforts to continue boosting investments in the oil and gas sectors, in line with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s vision, and the aspirations of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oil and Gas Holding Company, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today approved an edict on restructuring the Board of Directors of the Tatweer Petroleum Company (Tatweer).
On the occasion, HH Shaikh Nasser stressed the importance of activating the role of the oil and gas sectors in supporting the national economy, in accordance with the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030, noting that the efforts of Tatweer Petroleum Company will yield more achievements.
HH Shaikh Nasser wished Tatweer’s new Board of Directors every success in supporting the kingdom’s economic march, and the company’s strategic role in the sustainable economic development of the oil and gas sectors.
Under the edict, Faisal Mohammed Al-Mahroos shall be the Chairman of Tatweer’s Board of Directors.
Mark Thomas, Mazin Mohammed Mattar, Ali Habib Qassim, Gassan Ali Al-Mehanna and Isa Ali Janahi were appointed as members of Tatweer’s Board of Directors for a two-year term, starting from the date of the issuance of this edict.
