Lisbon : President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa has highlighted Bahrain’s experience in investing in culture.
In a lecture within the Aga Khan Award for Architecture’s program in Lisbon, Shaikha Mai stressed Bahrain’s keenness on strengthening its cultural infrastructure, which reflects an ancient cultural heritage dating back about 4,500 years. Princess Zahra Aga Khan and Prince Hussain Aga Khan were present.
During the meetings of the Steering Committee of the Aga Khan Award in its 15th session, various topics related to nominations and the award procedures that will be announced next year were discussed.
