Bahrain : HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee extended his sincere congratulations to HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as well as to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, on the occasion of the election of MP Ali Isa Ishaqi as Vice President of the Asian Handball Federation. He also extended congratulations on Bahrain Handball Association’s winning the best Asian association in the period between 2017-2021 for the second consecutive year at the 23rd General Assembly of the Asian Handball Federation.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa said: “We are proud of the accomplishments made by the Bahraini handball which are added to the series of achievements accomplished by the Bahraini sports which reflect our development at regional and international levels”. He added that these successes are clear evidence of the patronage of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the interest of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which contributed to making exceptional accomplishments at all levels internationally.
HH Shaikh Khalid explained that taking up the Vice President post at the Asian Handball Federation and winning the Best Association reflects the quality cadres the Kingdom possesses as well as the efforts that Bahrain Handball Association exerts towards developing the handball game.
Finally, HH Congratulated HE MP Ishaqi on being elected as Vice President, wishing him the best of luck.
