    HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region

    Bahrain :  His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister, today met with the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of the Republic of Iraq, HE Masrour Barzani, on the side-lines of the 2021 Manama Dialogue.

    His Royal Highness stressed the importance of prioritising regional security and stability for Middle East countries to support progress and development that benefits all.

    HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted the importance of the Manama Dialogue in consolidating security in the region through the exchange of ideas and visions that contribute to unifying positions to address regional and international challenges.

    HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad welcomed HE Barzani and highlighted ongoing relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Iraq.

    His Royal Highness emphasised the Kingdom’s commitment to further strengthening ties across various levels to achieve shared aspirations, development, and prosperity for both countries and their peoples.

    Issues of common interest, regional and international developments, and topics addressed by the Manama Dialogue, were discussed.

    The Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
