Bahrain : Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs, Ayman bin Tawfiq Al Moayed, extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the occasion of the successful launch of the first Bahrain-UAE satellite “Light 1”.
He described the historical achievement as the result of the directives of HM the King and the UAE President, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to launch a joint satellite aimed at supporting scientific researches and backing the international efforts in space exploration.
The Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs congratulated Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on the accomplishment, praising his follow-up on all procedures taken by the National Space Science Agency (NSSA) and support to the young national cadres who worked with their Emirati counterparts to bring about the achievement.
