Bahrain : Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) Secretary-General Fares Mustafa Al Kooheji stressed the importance of stepping up preparations for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The drive followed directives from Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority (GSA) Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Kooheji stressed keenness in Bahrain’s participation in 2024 Paris Olympic Games, to build on the success achieved in the previous editions, which were held in London (2012), Rio (2026) and Tokyo (2020).
This came as he received Bahrain Judo Federation Chairman Faisal Kanoo, Bahrain Wrestling Federation Chairman Abada Al Mulla and boxing trainer Briton Tony Davis.
The meeting focused on required preparations for the 2024 Paris Games, in line with the directives of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa to support the three federations to ensure successful participation.
BOC Secretary-General also received Shura Council Youth and Sports Committee Chairman, Bahrain Jiu Jitsu Federation Chief Reza Monfaradi and discussed preparations to attain further achievements.
