Bahrain : Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the 120km race for the junior and youth was held today.
The race is part of His Majesty the King’s Cup Endurance Ride Championship, currently organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) at the Bahrain Endurance Village.
HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and BREEF Honorary President, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, crowned Victorious Team’s jockey, Isa Al-Anzi, as champion of the race.
HH Shaikh Nasser also crowned jockeys Saud Mubarak Sabt, from Al-Fursan Team, and Mohammed Khalid Al-Ruwaie, from Al-Zaim Team, for winning the second and third places, respectively.
On the occasion, HH Shaikh Nasser said that HM the King’s Endurance Cup Festival is always witnesses massive participation form stables and jockeys, as it carries the name of the kingdom’s first jockey, HM King Hamad, making it one of the major milestones of the endurance season in Bahrain.
HH Shaikh Nasser congratulated the three winners of the race, and commended the distinguished level they had showcased throughout it.
