Riyadh : The first day of the International Defense Show featured various seminars and attracted several senior defense leaders from the industrial sector, academia, and government.
The show discussed a variety of topics, including Saudi Vision 2030, technology, innovation, and skills needed to determine the future of defense, and the drivers of the economy, politics and various strategies that will shape defense global future, according to Saudi News Agency (SPA).
The discussions included key participants such as the CEO of the Saudi Military Industries Company Walid Abu Khaled, King Fahad University President Dr. Mohammad Al Saqqaf, and several civil and military figures who highlighted key topics in the military and defense, while senior officials from major global companies including BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Boeing, and L3Harris Technologies delivered speeches.
The Intellectual Leadership Program is a major contributor to the World Defense Show, consolidating the position of the event as one of the most important events in international defense.
