Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today awarded 19 government service providers a gold classification for their excellence in service delivery under the third edition of the “Taqyeem” evaluation program, at Gudaibiya Palace.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the importance embracing initiatives designed to achieve excellence and sustainability in service delivery, in line with the Kingdom’s comprehensive development goals, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of building on current achievements, and further enhancing creativity, innovation, and competitiveness across government services to meet the current and future needs of citizens and residents.
HRH the Crown Prince then presented awards to the following service providers:
1. The Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs – Muharraq branch
2. The Customs Clearance Service’s Center – Maritime Port -Customs Affairs
3. The Forensic Information Directorate – Muharraq Security Complex
4. The Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs – Isa Town
5. The Forensic Information Directorate – Southern Governorate branch
6. The General Directorate of Traffic – Muharraq Security Complex
7. The Information and eGovernment Authority Center for ID Card Services – Seef Mall branch in Muharraq
8. Sanad Post Office – the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications
9. Bahrain Mall Post Office – the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications
10. Riffa Post Office – the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications
11. Hamad Town Post Office – the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications
12. Budaiya Post Office – the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications
13. The Northern Area Municipality Center in A’ali building- the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning
14. The Northern Municipality Service Center in Hamad Town – the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning
15. The Northern Municipality Service Center in Budaiya Building – the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning
16. Southern Governorate Municipality Customer Service Center – the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning
17. Labour Fund (Tamkeen) Customer Service Centre – Seef Mall
18. Labour Market Regulatory Authority – Mina Salman Center
19. The Ministry of Labour and Social Development – Muharraq Social Center
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad extended his congratulations to the awarded government service providers, and expressed his pride in their efforts and dedication to providing quality services to citizens and residents.
His Royal Highness further commended the Evaluation Committee’s efforts for their thorough assessment of the services provided by the various government entities.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed his confidence in Bahraini citizens to continue to develop and enhance government services, through creativity and innovation.
For their part, the senior government officials and heads of the government service providers in attendance expressed their gratitude for HRH the Crown Prince’s continued support for public sector services, noting that the honour of receiving a gold classification provides motivation for the further development of services in line with current and future needs.
A number of senior government officials also attended the meeting.
