London : The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom, Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, his wife and members of the diplomatic mission offered condolences at Lancaster House in the United Kingdom on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The ambassador expressed most sincere condolences and sympathy to His Majesty King Charles III, all members of the royal family, and the government and people of the United Kingdom, stressing Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s contribution to strengthening the longstanding relations between Bahrain and UK, which are spanning for more than 200 years.
He also noted that Her Majesty has played an essential role in further developing the Bahrain-UK relations in various fields.
The ambassador and his wife also offered their condolences in Westminster Hall at the British Parliament, where the coffin of Her Majesty rests for 4 days until the funeral on September 19.
