National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander Major General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to cooperate with the United States of America in many fields, including the energy fields, in accordance with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and in light of the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to strengthen cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries to develop the energy fields in the Kingdom. This came during His Highness’ meeting with Amos Hochstein, an energy advisor in the United States which was part of his visit to the United States of America.
Major General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa pointed out the importance of benefiting from the experience of the United States of America in the energy field, highlighting the significance of exchanging experiences among both countries, while at the same time bolstering investments in the oil and gas sectors. During the meeting, both sides discussed strengthening bilateral relations in investment in the energy, oil and gas sectors in addition to exchanging successful experiences. The meeting was attended by Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States of America and Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Assistant National Security Advisor.
