Bahrain : Youth and Sports Minister Ayman Tawfiq Almoayyad signed an agreement with the independent non-profit organization, Pearl initiative, to spread a corporate culture based on accountability and transparency in the Gulf region.
The agreement stipulates the two parties’ support for the involvement of Bahraini youth in the business field to spread a culture of corporate governance practices, exchange ideas and best practices that entrepreneurs can adopt and effectively implement in their businesses.
It aims to invite youth, businesspersons and business leaders to provide opportunities for networking and familiarization with the corporate ecosystem.
“Through this cooperation, we seek to shed light on the issue of corporate governance within the major cooperating companies from Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, because of its great importance in achieving justice, integrity, transparency and accountability in institutions, in addition to launching the Governance Forum as part of their policy to match young entrepreneurs with entrepreneurs,” the minister said.
