Manama: A memorandum of understanding has been signed today between the Bahrain Defense Force and the UAE Ministry of Defence related to cooperation between the two countries in the field of training and conducting joint exercises. The signing ceremony was attended by National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and UAE Armed Forces Deputy Chief of Staff General Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei.
Also present were Royal Guard Special Force Commander Lieutenant-Colonel HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Brigadier General Muslim Muhammad Saeed Al Rashidi, Deputy Commander of the UAE Presidential Guard for Combating Terrorism. The agreement aims to lay the foundations and general principles for joint exercises related to combating terrorism and to enhance cooperation between the two sides in the field of exchanging military expertise.
