Dubai : The “His Highness Shaikh Nasser Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Centre”, the research arm of the Nasser Vocational Training Center (NVTC), has won the ICT Leadership Award at the 42nd Gulf and Middle East Information Technology Exhibition and Conference (GITEX Global), organised by CXO Insight Middle East, in the presence of the representatives of more than 200 entities in the Middle East region.
On the occasion, NVTC Director, Dr. Abdulla Nasser Al-Nuaimi, dedicated the achievement to HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, NVTC Board of Trustees Chairman, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, noting that the honouring is the outcome of the support for youth empowerment programmes in the kingdom, in light of the constant care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He pointed out that this achievement is a culmination of the centre’s efforts to consolidate the position of the Kingdom in the field of innovation and artificial intelligence in the region.
It also reflects the efficiency and competence of the national competencies that the centre attracts in the fields of technology and future sciences, as well as their willingness to enter this field efficiently and competitively.
It is to be noted that the His Highness Shaikh Nasser Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Centre won the Best Artificial Intelligence in Education award during the previous GITEX edition.
