Algiers : HM the King’s Special Representative HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa arrived in Algiers to represent His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in the 31st Arab Summit on November 1-2.
HH Shaikh Mohammed was received upon his arrival by Algerian Prime Minister Aymen Benabderrahmane, Lakhdar Rakhroukh Minister of Public Works, Hydraulics and Basic Infrastructure, Algerian Ambassador to Bahrain Abdulhamid Khoja and Bahrain Ambassador to Algerian Fuad Sadiq Al Baharna.
HH Shaikh Mohammed expressed his pride at representing HM the King in the Arab Summit, extending thanks and gratitude to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune for the invitation to attend the summit.
In a statement, he stressed Bahrain’s keenness, led by HM the King, on supporting pan-Arab action, and developing cooperation, which would contribute to bolstering Arab interests and tackling regional and international challenges.
HH Shaikh Mohammed highlighted the issues featuring on the agenda of the summit which, he said, aims to support pan-Arab cooperation. He wished the summit every success to reinstate pan-Arab solidarity, consolidate Arab joint action and achieve the aspirations of Arab countries and peoples.
